Job Summary

We’re seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven Operations Manager to oversee multiple café and food service operations at the Porsche Experience Center in Carson, CA. This leader will be responsible for delivering an elevated hospitality experience while ensuring operational excellence across culinary execution, financial performance, team development, food safety, and client relations.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in hospitality and/or corporate dining, a passion for food and service, and the ability to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, luxury-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of multiple café and food service outlets within the Porsche Experience Center
  • Ensure all operations consistently meet company standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, safety, and hospitality
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop hourly and management team members while fostering a positive team culture
  • Manage scheduling, labor, payroll, forecasting, and operational budgets to achieve financial goals
  • Monitor food cost controls, inventory management, purchasing standards, and waste reduction initiatives
  • Partner with culinary leadership to maintain high-quality food programs, merchandising, and presentation standards
  • Build strong relationships with guests, clients, and internal stakeholders through exceptional customer service
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer feedback and operational challenges
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, audits, POS systems, menu accuracy, and operational reporting
  • Support special events, private dining experiences, and catering initiatives as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, OSHA, and HACCP standards
  • Lead ongoing safety training, sanitation programs, and operational audits
  • Support and implement new operational initiatives, programs, and process improvements 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, corporate dining, restaurants, hotels, or multi-unit food service operations
  • Strong background managing high-volume food service environments with multiple outlets or service areas
  • Proven ability to lead and develop diverse teams in a fast-paced setting
  • Financial acumen including budgeting, labor management, forecasting, and cost controls
  • Passion for hospitality, food quality, and guest experience
  • Experience supporting premium hospitality or luxury guest environments preferred
  • Knowledge of sustainability initiatives and food service best practices preferred
  • Experience with POS systems, Microsoft Office, and operational reporting tools
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • ServSafe Certification
  • HACCP knowledge or certification
