Job description

ResponsibilitiesField Excellence
  • Help set national and regional sales targets in compliance with regulations and in alignment with forecasts; align targeting and call planning based on business strategy.
  • Support implementation and management of sales compensation plans and incentive programs; adjust as needed for optimal performance; help automate targeting and incentive programs.
  • Manage field alignment, workload calculation, and territory mapping; collaborate with sales leadership to ensure optimal field resource allocation.
Build infrastructure and improve process
  • In collaboration with IT, support management of sales/marketing data (targeting, incentive compensation, KPIs, field sizing); maintain customer master data; optimize data sources for sales planning; collaborate on ongoing CRM improvement.
  • Support Commercial Operations budget tracking; assist with vendor relationships and day-to-day vendor coordination.
  • Manage the field fleet program: coordinate vehicle assignments, track lease schedules/renewals, liaise with fleet vendors, ensure compliance with company fleet policy, and serve as the primary field fleet point of contact.
Create insights
  • Support definition, development, and regular communication of business KPIs and metrics; collaborate with commercial leadership and business analytics on KPI tracking and reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a business-related or life sciences field; strong understanding of the life sciences industry.
  • 5+ years progressive commercial experience in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals.
  • 2+ years in pharmaceutical data/sales operations (e.g., brand/data/sales operations, analytics, forecasting).
  • Strong leadership and communication; effective vendor management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment; strong organization and time management.
  • Travel up to 20%.
Preferred
  • Experience in the cardiometabolic disease space.
Application/Location
  • Based in Pasadena, CA; expectation to be in office 5 days/week.
