We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive IT Operations Analyst Ito join our team with a focus on Technical Asset Management and Telecom Operations This role involves managing IT and telecom assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring seamless operations, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with organizational standards. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of IT and telecom systems, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Technical Asset Management:
  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT and telecom assets, from procurement to decommissioning.

  • Maintain a comprehensive and accurate asset inventory for hardware, software, and telecom equipment.

  • Develop and enforce policies for asset allocation, usage, and disposal to ensure compliance and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with vendors to negotiate optimal pricing, contracts, and service agreements.

Telecom Operations:
  • Oversee telecom infrastructure, including VoIP systems, mobile devices, and enterprise communication tools.

  • Monitor telecom network performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement timely solutions.

  • Coordinate with service providers to ensure timely maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution.

  • Evaluate and recommend telecom technologies to align with the organization's strategic objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.

  • 2+ years of experience in IT operations or a related field (preferred).

  • Familiarity with current Windows and Office versions; Macintosh experience is beneficial.

  • Hands-on experience in hardware provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

WHAT THE JOB REQUIRES:
  • Work is primarily conducted in an office setting. Requires sitting at a desk or workstation for extended periods. Involves the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.

  • Requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Minimal physical effort in the day-to-day tasks

  • Requires the ability to work Monday through Friday. Entails in-person office requirements for a minimum of 4 days per the Company's hybrid policy, located at Essex's corporate office in Irvine.
  • Minimal travel may be required for occasional meetings, training, or conferences.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • Familiarity with asset management tools and systems (e.g., ServiceNow).

  • Strong understanding of telecom systems (e.g., PBX, VoIP, SIP) and networking fundamentals.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

New hires generally start between $24.50 - $29.09 per hour. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, including but not limited to skill sets; relevant experience; internal equity; and other business and organizational needs.
