Job description

Edo partners with utilities to transform commercial buildings into efficient contributors to the electric grid. We have a bold vision: a future where clean energy is reliable, affordable, and empowers communities everywhere. The energy sector is undergoing its most dramatic transformation in decades, with the U.S. power grid being reimagined to meet evolving technological, environmental, and economic needs. Edo develops innovative energy efficiency and demand flexibility solutions that help utilities and building owners navigate this shift while ensuring grid reliability and operational efficiency. Let's shape the future of energy together.

The Opportunity with Edo

We are seeking a Director of Delivery  to join our growing Edo Platform division in Seattle, WA. The Director of Delivery owns Edo's program delivery function across both building service provider and utility audiences. This role is directly accountable for the operational execution of Edo's commercial commitments, leading the teams responsible for building activation, ongoing operation, and program performance across a national delivery footprint. As a senior leadership role reporting to Edo's Managing Director, the position helps shape Edo's broader operating model and scaling strategy. Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Active Energy Management services to BSP clients and utility programs, ensuring service quality, client satisfaction, and performance against signed commercial commitments.
  • Own utility program performance, including delivery against megawatt commitments, event execution, measurement and verification, and program scorecards.
  • Lead the buildings operations function responsible for technical activation and ongoing operation across both BSP and utility delivery streams.
  • Own delivery-phase client relationships, including reporting cadence, escalation handling, performance reviews, post-activation experience, retention, and renewal positioning.
  • Drive strategic initiatives, delivery efficiency, and operating discipline in partnership with product, engineering, and commercial leadership, while scaling the delivery organization and developing future leaders

What You Need to Succeed at Edo

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in program delivery, with depth in utility program implementation and/or commercial building services delivery.
  • Demonstrated track record running delivery organizations of comparable or greater size and complexity against multi-stakeholder programs.
  • Direct experience owning utility client relationships at the program manager or director level.
  • Working knowledge of measurement and verification, regulatory environments including FERC 2222 and ISO wholesale market participation, and demand flexibility programs.
  • Strong technical literacy sufficient to engage credibly on program delivery, platform priorities, and data architecture without directly owning technical execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to hold accountability for outcomes produced by teams outside the direct reporting line and to lead and develop technical and operational staff, including future leaders.
