Summary:

In this role, you will serve as a strategic advisor and Data & Digital analytics service lead for academic medical centers, large and complex health systems, children's hospitals, and community hospitals. You will leverage clinical, operational, quality, utilization, cost, strategic, market, and supply analytics to identify performance improvement opportunities and translate insights into measurable outcomes. You will partner with client executives and internal teams to guide strategic and performance improvement priorities, maximize engagement with Vizient solutions, strengthen client partnerships, and support retention and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise client executives on strategic priorities and performance improvement opportunities by aligning Vizient analytics, capabilities, and service solutions with organizational goals.
  • Deliver actionable insights using clinical, operational, quality, utilization, cost, strategic, market, and supply analytics to inform client decision-making.
  • Identify and prioritize system-level and individual hospital opportunities and translate analytics into strategic recommendations and measurable improvement initiatives.
  • Guide strategic and performance improvement discussions with client leadership, including C-suite executives, and influence key factors such as leadership alignment, culture, organizational structure, and operational practices.
  • Develop, execute, measure, and sustain performance improvement plans addressing quality of care, capacity and throughput, length of stay, workforce productivity, utilization, and cost performance.
  • Influence client participation in Vizient analytic and service offerings to increase adoption, engagement, outcomes, and demonstrated value.
  • Develop and execute action plans that strengthen client engagement, improve satisfaction, and contribute to account planning and a seamless client experience.
  • Collaborate with internal product, analytics, data, advisory, and account teams to address client needs and support data integrity, health, and optimization.
  • Support retention and growth by identifying additional service and subscription opportunities, contributing to sales efforts, and developing an opportunity pipeline.
  • Measure and communicate performance improvement outcomes to demonstrate the value generated through Vizient solutions and support sustained client success.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience in healthcare quality improvement, performance improvement, operations, or healthcare strategy required, preferably in a leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience using operational and quality data to develop strategic recommendations and drive measurable performance improvement.
  • Experience presenting to and advising hospital and health system C-suite leaders required.
  • Experience interpreting and applying clinical, operational, quality, utilization, cost, market, and/or supply chain data.
  • Understanding of healthcare operational performance measures, including length of stay, capacity and throughput, workforce productivity, and overtime, and their strategic implications preferred.
  • Performance improvement leadership, healthcare strategy, and project management experience preferred.
  • Acute care healthcare experience and Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
