As a Workday Integration Developer on the HR Technology Workday Center of Excellence team, you will play a critical role in enhancing the employee experience, improving operational efficiency, and enabling business outcomes through scalable HR technology solutions.
In this role, you will lead the design, development, testing, implementation, and support of Workday integrations that connect key HR functions including Human Capital Management, Payroll, Talent Management, and Benefits.
You will work across a complex enterprise environment supporting more than 300 integrations while partnering closely with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Development Leads, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and secure solutions. Your ability to analyze complex challenges, make sound decisions, and drive issue resolution will help ensure the stability and continuous improvement of critical HR systems.
Success in this role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving, collaboration, and adaptability. You will influence integration strategy, guide release readiness activities, mentor team members, and establish efficient processes that improve quality, reliability, and operational excellence. As a trusted technical leader, you will help shape future-state solutions while fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and partnership across teams.

What you have
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience delivering, supporting, and maintaining Workday integrations and platform solutions.
  • 6+ years of experience with Workday Integration technologies, including Workday Studio.
  • Strong experience with Workday release management, tenant management, test coordination, and production deployments.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting inbound and outbound integrations across Workday HCM, Payroll, Talent Management, and Benefits.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive resolution across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience establishing and improving integration monitoring, support, quality assurance, and operational processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate risks and make informed decisions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams while influencing outcomes and driving execution.
  • Experience designing secure, scalable, and reliable data flows, processes, and system integrations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Kainos Smart Test and Kainos Smart products.
  • Experience using Jira and Atlassian tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and develop strategic recommendations.
