The Total Rewards Specialist will proactively identify and align our Total Rewards activities with the most critical business priorities to drive strategic decision making. The ideal candidate must display strong business acumen and the ability to leverage data insights to influence business strategies and outcomes to drive ROI with our talent through maintaining open, clear, and transparent communication with both internal and external key stakeholders to ensure alignment, collaboration, and the successful achievement of business objectives.
This role is fully remote until Spring 2027, then will become hybrid!
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to Compensation and Benefits and supports both Compensation and Benefits functions.
2. Lead internal communication strategies related to Compensation and Benefits, ensuring that timely communications are delivered to employees to maximize perceived value of Total Rewards offerings.
3. Take ownership of and effectively manage all Job Descriptions within the Company, ensuring alignment to best practices and legal compliance. Proactively audit Job Descriptions managed within the repository.
4. Own end-to-end employee leave of absence (LoA) processes, documentation, and compliance with applicable laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA).
5. Maximize the utilization efficiency of Dayforce through problem solving to create long-term, sustainable Compensation and Benefits solutions.
6. Proactively evaluates job descriptions through benchmarking and through ad hoc requests as requested with the support of the Manager, Compensation.
7. Responsible for compensation survey participation as required to ensure access to accurate data sources.
8. Support the Benefits Administration Manager in fulfilling compliance filings. Maintain a calendar to ensure timely completion of all required filings.
9. Maintain and regularly update processes within Dayforce, to include merit and performance review cycles.
10. Act as point-of-contact for Compensation and Benefits vendors, ensuring their value is maximized through ongoing education and research of new offerings.
11. Responsible for reviewing and processing change forms.
12. Complete ad-hoc reporting as needed based on business needs.
13. Perform related duties as required.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or in a related business discipline.
  • In depth knowledge of compensation regulations, compliance, and best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with HRIS systems - Dayforce experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Use independent judgment and decision-making to identify root cause and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to navigate evolving business needs and changing priorities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
