JOB SUMMARY

Quotation Analyst
Drive Growth Through Strategic Costing & Financial Analysis

Gestamp is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quotation Analyst to play a critical role in evaluating new business opportunities and supporting strategic growth. In this role, you will coordinate cost estimates, develop financial models, and partner with manufacturing plants, sales teams, and leadership to deliver accurate, competitive, and profitable customer quotations. What You'll Do
Lead and coordinate quotation costing activities with Gestamp plants for new business opportunities and engineering changes.
Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate profitability and ensure opportunities meet corporate return targets.
Partner with sales teams to define quote requirements and customer RFQs.
Create customer quotations, cost breakdowns, financial analyses, and supporting documentation.
Collaborate with plant teams to establish cost assumptions, manufacturing feasibility, capacity considerations, and standard costing inputs.
Participate in quote reviews and financial presentations with plant leadership and executive stakeholders.
Build strong relationships across business units and manufacturing locations to support successful program launches.
Lead the development and implementation of sales and capital investment databases.
Support business planning activities, continuous improvement initiatives, and departmental standards.
Coordinate supporting quote documentation, including Bills of Material (BOMs), Statements of Requirements, and related materials.
Attend customer and internal meetings as needed.

What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in costing, financial modeling, and business analysis.
Experience in metal stamping or automotive manufacturing preferred.
Strong understanding of standard costing methodologies and financial principles.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Word and Access.
Ability to interpret financial models and assess business profitability.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/blueprints.
Knowledge of IATF standards and requirements.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
Strong customer focus, relationship-building skills, and a collaborative mindset.
