What is a senior partner enablement?

Senior Partner Enablement professionals are responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure that an organization's business partners have the knowledge, resources, and support they need to successfully sell or deliver the company's products or services. They often design training programs, create enablement materials, and work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align partner initiatives with business goals. Their role is crucial in driving partner engagement, accelerating partner performance, and ultimately increasing revenue through indirect sales channels.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a senior partner enablement professional?

To thrive as a Senior Partner Enablement professional, you need deep expertise in partner management, training program development, and a strong understanding of sales or channel strategies, often backed by a relevant degree or certifications in sales enablement or project management. Familiarity with partner relationship management (PRM) platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and CRM tools like Salesforce is typically required. Outstanding communication, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving abilities help foster strong partner relationships and ensure effective knowledge transfer. These skills are critical for driving partner success, accelerating adoption of products or services, and achieving organizational growth through channel partnerships.

Job description

Our Human Capital practice is at the forefront of transforming the way technology companies grow, retain, and activate the ecosystems that power their business. As enterprise software, cloud platforms, and frontier AI products proliferate, the ability to educate customers and enable partners has moved from a supporting function to a strategic growth lever-a force multiplier for technology adoption, net retention, and partner-driven pipeline.

We are seeking a highly driven Senior Manager to lead the growth and delivery of Deloitte's Customer Education & Partner Enablement (CE&PE) practice within the Human Capital Insights, Innovation & Operate offering. In this role, you will help technology companies-software vendors, cloud providers, platform businesses, and frontier AI companies-design, build, and operate continuous, multi-tenant learning ecosystems that link learning metrics directly to commercial outcomes: product adoption, renewal rates, and pipeline velocity.

This is not a role for someone who follows a linear training-delivery playbook. The CE&PE practice demands a candidate who can move away from static slides-to-certificate models and instead architect modern, outcome-driven learning ecosystems that serve diverse user personas-customers, implementation partners, resellers, and global systems integrators-while scaling efficiently through AI-native content operations and outcome-based commercial structures.

This is a client-facing, business-building role spanning the full lifecycle: shaping go-to-market strategy, leading complex sales cycles, architecting CE&PE operating models, and overseeing global program delivery. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience in customer education or partner enablement within or directly serving tier-one technology ecosystems, and is energized by the opportunity to build a high-growth practice at a premier global consultancy.

Recruiting for this role ends on 08/28/2026.

Work you'll do

As a Senior Manager, Customer Education & Partner Enablement on the Package and Technology Enablement team, you will be responsible for:

  • Define and execute go-to-market strategy for Deloitte's customer education and partner enablement offerings within the technology sector.
  • Lead complex pursuits from opportunity identification through proposal development, executive presentations, and deal close.
  • Design and oversee customer and partner learning ecosystems, including certification programs, credentialing models, and AI-enabled content operations.
  • Build operating models and analytics capabilities that connect learning activity to adoption, renewal, pipeline, and other business outcomes.
  • Lead globally distributed teams across content design, delivery, learning operations, and vendor coordination while maintaining quality, service levels, and performance expectations.

A successful candidate would possess these skills:

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
  • Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
  • Ability to lead projects or workstreams
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • 9+ years of experience leading, designing, or advising on customer education or partner enablement programs within enterprise software, cloud platforms, software as a service, or AI companies.
  • 6+ years of experience designing or operating learning programs for external audiences, including customers, resellers, or implementation partners, across multi-tenant learning environments.
  • 6+ years of experience developing certification or credentialing programs, including content design, assessment development, and program governance.
  • 6+ years of experience leading globally distributed, cross-functional teams across content development, training delivery, learning operations, or vendor management.
  • 3+ years of enterprise business development or sales experience, leading and closing complex consulting, managed services, customer education, partner enablement, learning, or technology engagements.
  • Ability to travel 0-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree or Master of Business Administration.
  • 6+ years of experience in management consulting, professional services, a learning solutions provider, or an in-house partner academy or ecosystem enablement function at a hyperscaler or software as a service company.
  • 3+ years of experience with multi-tenant learning management systems serving external audiences, including extended enterprise or role-based access configurations.
  • 3+ years of experience developing psychometrically validated, high-stakes certification programs, including job task analysis or cut score setting, and knowledge of National Commission for Certifying Agencies, American National Standards Institute, or International Organization for Standardization standards.
  • 3+ years of experience structuring subscription-based or outcome-based commercial models for customer education or partner enablement programs.
  • 2+ years of experience with artificial intelligence-enabled content authoring, rapid curriculum updates, or adaptive learning workflows.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $171,600 to $338,300.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
