Senior Learning Technology information

What is a good career to start at 60 years old?

A senior learning technology professional can pursue roles such as training coordinator, instructional designer, or e-learning specialist, which often value experience and strong communication skills. These positions may require familiarity with learning management systems and digital tools, and they typically offer flexible schedules suitable for older adults starting new careers.

What jobs pay $2000 a day?

Senior Learning Technology roles typically do not pay $2000 a day; such high daily rates are more common in specialized consulting, executive-level positions, or freelance roles in fields like management consulting, legal advising, or high-end IT consulting. These roles often require extensive experience, certifications, and a strong reputation. Most standard jobs in learning technology pay significantly less on a daily basis.

What jobs pay $10,000 a month without a degree?

Senior Learning Technology roles typically require specialized skills in educational software, e-learning platforms, and sometimes certifications, but high-paying positions without a degree are rare. Many high-paying tech or sales roles that can reach $10,000 monthly often prioritize experience, skills, or certifications over formal education. Freelance consulting, sales, or technical roles in certain industries may also achieve this income level without a degree, but they usually demand significant expertise and proven results.

What hot tech job pays $775 000?

Senior Learning Technology roles typically do not reach salaries of $775,000; such high compensation is more common in executive or specialized tech positions like Chief Technology Officers or senior software executives. These roles often require extensive experience, advanced skills, and leadership responsibilities, and compensation can include base salary, bonuses, and stock options.

Job description

We are seeking a data-driven storyteller to join our team as a Senior Learning Analytics Specialist. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex data engineering and actionable business strategy. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated visualization solutions that measure the impact of our learning and development initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a Power BI expert with a strong background in data modeling and a passion for human performance technology. You will play a pivotal role in translating learning data from platforms like SAP SuccessFactors and Workera into compelling visual narratives that drive organizational growth in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Dashboard Development: Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of high-impact Power BI dashboards, utilizing advanced DAX programming and data modeling.
Data Engineering: Manage ETL processes and architecture using modern tools (Microsoft Fabric/Azure) to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
Learning Ecosystem Integration: Analyze and report on data from LMS platforms (SuccessFactors), LRS environments (xAPI/SCORM), and skill-assessment tools.
Strategic Insight: Translate complex datasets into "story-driven" visualizations that allow non-technical stakeholders to see the direct business impact of learning programs.
Innovation & AI: Leverage current AI technologies (Copilot, ChatGPT) and programming (Python/SQL) to automate workflows and enhance analytical capabilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global teams and stakeholders to manage multiple projects, influencing data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of expert-level Power BI development (DAX, Power Query).
Technical Proficiency: Strong grasp of data modeling, ETL, and modern data engineering (Azure/Fabric).
Portfolio: A proven track record of creating visually compelling, business-centric dashboards.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Advanced Education: Master's degree (M.S.) in a specialized analytics field.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a similarly regulated environment.
Learning Tech: Familiarity with xAPI, SCORM, SAP SuccessFactors, and platforms like Workera or Smartsheet.
Programming: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R.
Soft Skills: Strong "growth mindset" with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage complex, simultaneous projects. Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans
