Job description

KEI Employment Requirements

  • Identify and drive the elimination of waste within our business practices and value streams.
Duties
  • Under guidance of Tech Mentor and Service Manager, performs basic service tasks as assigned.
  • Develops skills in removal, disassembly, and reconditioning of components.
  • Assists service technicians as needed, including delivery of parts.
  • Participates in training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
  • Maintains the condition of tools and equipment.
  • Ensure a safe work area and performs work in a accordance with identified standards.
  • Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
  • Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments.
  • Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.
  • May perform pre-delivery set-up and inspection on new equipment.
Skills and Aptitudes
  • Actively engaged in the completion of a high school or advanced academic program aligned with the defined expectations of the position.
  • Developing knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of outdoor power equipment/agricultural equipment.
  • Effective and timely communications skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly.
