Job description

Job Title: EPM Functional Analyst

Location: Hybrid (Miami, FL) preferred; Remote may be considered

Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

W2 Contract

Job Description

We are seeking an EPM Functional Analyst with strong Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) expertise and a solid background in Accounting and Financial Planning. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial close processes while partnering with cross-functional business and IT teams. This role will contribute to system implementations, enhancements, process improvements, and ongoing production support.

Required Skills
  • 3–7+ years of experience with EPM, Finance Systems, Accounting, or Financial Planning

  • Strong functional experience with planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

  • Experience supporting EPM applications for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial close

  • Strong understanding of Accounting and Financial Planning processes

  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional specifications

  • Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives

  • Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Oracle EPM / Hyperion Planning

  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)

  • Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)

  • Knowledge of finance system integrations, metadata management, and reporting tools

  • Familiarity with month-end close, planning cycles, and management reporting

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the functional SME for EPM applications supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial close

  • Partner with Accounting, Finance, Planning, and business teams to gather and document requirements

  • Translate business needs into functional system requirements and support solution design

  • Support system implementations, enhancements, testing, and production support

  • Assist with process improvements to optimize financial planning and reporting
