Position Requirements
The Workday Application Analyst, Finance, is a key member of the Business Technology (BT) Corporate Systems team, reporting to the Lead, Corporate Systems. This role serves as a subject matter expert supporting NAPA's Workday platform and Finance applications.
The analyst is responsible for day-to-day support, configuration, testing, security, issue triage, documentation, and continuous improvement across core Finance systems, including Workday Financials, Adaptive Insights, and related applications.
In close partnership with Accounting, FP&A, operational stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, this role translates business requirements into scalable, compliant system solutions that enhance user experience and drive business outcomes.
Success in this role requires a blend of technical and analytical expertise, along with strong relationship management skills, to ensure Finance processes operate effectively while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and system performance.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Overall ownership for the ongoing design, deployment, and maintenance of technology solutions focused on the Record to Report and Procure-to-Pay Value Streams
  • Serve as a strong consultative partner to business and functional leaders to continuously improve financial outcomes
  • Partner with Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to improve application efficiency, monitor performance, coordinate downtime activities, and recommend process enhancements.
  • Drive the deployment of new features and system maintenance, ensuring stakeholder requirements are met successfully
  • Ensure up-to-date documentation of system functions, processes, and capabilities
  • Drive and facilitate discussions between Finance points of contact and BT service owners, ensuring the right people are involved at the right time on the right topics

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or information systems
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Workday administration, configuration, support, and maintenance
    • 1 year with Workday Finance Modules
  • Knowledge of Workday tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Reporting (Composite, Matrix, Advanced), BIRT, Security, Business Processes, Calculated Fields)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior experience at a Workday implementation partner
  • IT experience in a healthcare environment preferred
  • Workday certifications such as:
    • Workday Pro - Record to Report
    • Workday Pro - Financial Reporting
    • Workday Pro - Contracts to Cash
    • Workday Pro - Integrations
    • Workday Pro - Security
    • Workday Pro - Platform Administrator
