Kronos Remote information

What is a Kronos Remote?

Kronos remote jobs refer to positions that involve working with Kronos workforce management software from a remote location, rather than onsite. These roles can include system administrators, consultants, support specialists, or developers who manage, configure, or support Kronos software for organizations. Remote Kronos jobs typically require experience with the Kronos platform, strong technical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot issues virtually. Working remotely allows professionals to provide services and support to clients or employers from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. These positions are popular due to their flexibility and the growing demand for remote technical expertise.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a Kronos Remote specialist?

To thrive as a Kronos Remote Specialist, you need expertise in workforce management, timekeeping systems, and a solid understanding of HR or payroll processes, often supported by relevant experience or a degree in IT, HR, or business administration. Familiarity with Kronos Workforce Central or Dimensions, troubleshooting tools, and certifications such as Kronos Certified Implementation Consultant are highly valuable. Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills set candidates apart when supporting clients remotely. These skills and qualifications ensure accurate system configuration, effective client support, and optimal workforce management for organizations using Kronos solutions.

  • Collaborate with project managers, functional consultants, technical teams, and client stakeholders across multiple project workstreams.
  • Manage multiple client engagements and deliverables within a consulting environment.
  • Provide best-practice recommendations and functional guidance to help clients optimize their UKG WFM solutions.
  • Participate in client meetings, workshops, demonstrations, and implementation discussions.
  • Maintain strong UKG product knowledge through ongoing training, certification, and continuous learning.

What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Workforce Management or Time & Attendance systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience with UKG WFM, UKG Pro WFM, and/or UKG Dimensions is highly preferred and considered a core requirement.
  • Experience with Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) is highly relevant and will be considered, particularly for candidates with strong WFM implementation experience.
  • Experience with UKG UTA (Ultimate Time & Attendance) or other legacy UKG timekeeping platforms is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with system configuration, testing, deployment, and go-live support for Workforce Management implementations.
  • Experience configuring modules such as Timekeeping, Accruals, Scheduling, Personas, Business Structure, and/or Attendance.
  • Client-facing implementation, consulting, or solution delivery experience within an HCM/WFM environment.
  • Experience leading a module, workstream, or significant portion of an implementation project.
  • Strong understanding of Workforce Management concepts, including timekeeping rules, pay rules, schedules, accruals, attendance, and employee data structures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with distributed project teams.
  • Willingness to participate in UKG product training, certification programs, and continuous learning initiatives.
  • Contractor readiness: Willingness and ability to engage on a contract basis when a suitable client opportunity becomes available.
  • Availability: Clearly defined current or upcoming availability, including expected notice period and potential start date for contract engagements.
  • Ability to commit to agreed project schedules and deliverables once assigned to a client engagement.
  • For US and Canada candidates: Ability to travel for client engagements as needed, up to 10%.
  • For Philippines candidates: Remote position; travel is not required.
  • Candidates must have valid authorization to work in their respective country. Visa sponsorship is not available.
