Job Type: Full Time W2 offering competitive salary and benefits (no 1099 or C2C)

Relocation: Relo support will be considered for qualified candidates outside the commuting area
JTEC Consulting, LLC is hiring a highly skilled Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) Administrator to work in support of a federal program. Qualified candidates will have senior level expertise working as a Computer Systems Analyst administering MECM for software deployments at the enterprise-level for a complex technology infrastructure. Prior experience supporting MECM/SCCM for a DoD Combatant Command is highly preferred.
Role and Responsibilities include:
  • Work as part of a collaborative team supporting cybersecurity initiatives
  • Support administration for MECM to manage software deployments
  • Provide enterprise-level support for OS imaging, updates, and patching
  • Support deployment packages for software and OS rollouts including developing and maintaining task sequences and collections for packages
  • Provide troubleshooting and monitoring to ensure high system performance for MECM issues
  • Ensure patch compliance with management, reporting, and providing remediation plans, as needed
  • Enforce endpoint security policies and maintain configuration baselines
  • Support cybersecurity team and updates to maintain DoD STIG requirements and compliance standards
  • Produce detailed reporting and metrics for asset inventory, deployment status, and related compliance
  • Develop and maintain program documentation, including SOPs, for knowledge management and knowledge transfer to helpdesk and system administration team
  • Other duties, as assigned

Experience and Requirements include:
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Current security clearance (minimum secret)
  • Availability to support a fully on-site schedule
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; equivalent years of related experience may be substituted for education.
  • 9+ years of system administration experience including:
    • Demonstrated expertise in system administration and desktop management with Windows OS
    • 5+ years of overall experience supporting MECM/SCCM environments
    • Expertise with Windows OS deployment, patch management, and application packaging
    • Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting
    • Experience with DISA STIG compliance and supporting vulnerability remediation process
    • Experience deploying hybrid devices using Microsoft Intune using Windows Autopilot
  • Effective written and verbal English communication skills to support a blended government contractor environment
  • Availability to work on-site

Preferred Experience:
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
  • Prior experience supporting MECM/SCCM for SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM or related component is highly desired.
