Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Remote option.
Required:
• Experience with Oracle Database Administration and PL/SQL (10+ years);
• Experience with Oracle 19c Multi-Tenant Architecture and RAC Databases (2+ years);
• Experience with Red Hat Linux and Oracle Linux operating systems;
• Experience in following processes and procedures to standardize Database installations and configuration;
• Experience with Java, Linux and Unix;
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting (bash, Perl, or equivalent scripting tools);
• Experience with Oracle performance tuning using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) or third-party tools;
• Experience with Oracle backup methodologies, data pump (expdp/impdp), and Automatic Storage Management (ASM);
• Experience with logical database design, data models, SQL/PL/SQL, Oracle Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Database Triggers;
• Experience with data masking using Test Data Management tools (developing masking standards, rules, algorithms, and automation pipelines for Oracle databases).
• Experience working with CDB/PDB environments
Preferred:
• Experience with SQL performance tuning and database architecture 5+ years;
• Experience with Oracle Exadata;
• Experience with converting traditional databases to Oracle Multitenant Container Model architecture.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle 19c databases on RAC and Exadata infrastructure in production and non-production environments;
• Monitor alert logs, OEM alerts, and system alerts; respond to and resolve database incidents and complex Oracle issues;
• Design and implement Oracle backup and recovery strategies; execute and validate backup operations;
• Automate, script, and streamline database administration processes using Unix/Linux shell scripting and other scripting tools;
• Perform database performance tuning of SQL, PL/SQL, objects, and queries using OEM and third-party tools;
• Configure and execute data masking workflows; develop and maintain enterprise-wide data masking standards, rule sets, and automation pipelines using Test Data Management tools;
• Standardize database installations and configurations; support production environments, troubleshoot data infrastructure issues, and participate in after-hours production support as needed
