Summary
The Desktop Engineer will be responsible for providing day-to-day support for end-user computing environments, assisting with desktop, laptop, and mobile device operations across Windows and macOS platforms. This role focuses on learning and supporting standardized tools, processes, and technologies used to deliver reliable and efficient desktop services across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with foundational IT knowledge, strong customer service skills, and a desire to grow within desktop engineering and endpoint management disciplines.
What You'll Do:
  • Provide Level 1-3 support for end-user computing issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Assist with deployment, configuration, and maintenance of endpoint devices using enterprise tools such as Intune, JAMF, and others (under guidance).
  • Support operating system builds, software installations, patching, and upgrades for Windows and macOS environments.
  • Troubleshoot common desktop, application, and connectivity issues and escalate more complex problems as appropriate.
  • Assist in maintaining endpoint standards, configurations, and compliance with IT policies.
  • Support user account and device-related activities in Active Directory, including basic group membership and access validation.
  • Participate in documentation efforts by creating or updating standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles.
  • Work closely with senior desktop engineers and service desk teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service while interacting with end users in person, remotely, or via ticketing systems.
  • Participate in after-hours or on-call support rotations as required.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science or CCNA, CompTIA certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing end points and patching IT Assets
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with global teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What You'll Receive:
As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $89,400K-$111,800K. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. This position qualifies for benefits and you will be eligible to participate in a bonus plan.
