Due to growth, Dematic Corp is growing its Project Controlling organization and seeking multiple Finance Project Controllers across our U.S. locations (Grand Rapids, MI; Atlanta, GA; Wauwatosa, WI; Dallas, TX).
Reporting to the Senior Manager, this role serves as a financial co-pilot to Project Execution teams, owning the financial performance of a project portfolio. The position is instrumental in driving a strong control environment and a predictable financial culture.

    Tasks and Qualifications:

    What You Will do in This Role:

    • Own and manage EACs (Estimate at Completion), ensuring all deviations are clearly quantified with root-cause support
    • Partner closely with Project Management and cross-functional teams to drive project performance and financial outcomes
    • Proactively identify, quantify, and mitigate risks impacting project financials
    • Lead change order management to protect and enhance project profitability
    • Manage cash flow and working capital across project portfolio
    • Deliver monthly financial performance reviews to senior leadership (VP/Director level)
    • Lead weekly pacing discussions to ensure forecast commitments are achieved
    • Develop and improve management reporting and dashboards
    • Perform ad hoc analysis to continuously improve project controlling efficiency

    What We Are Looking For:

    • 8+ years proven experience in project-based business or manufacturing finance
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting prefered
    • Proven track record to own results and influence outcomes in a cross-functional environment
    • Strong business partnering approach with the confidence to challenge and inspire change
    • Highly analytical with strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills
    • Genuine curiosity about understanding the business, not just the numbers
    • Experience with SAP (or equivalent ERP), Excel, and PowerPoint
