Job description

M&A Manager - Strategy (US)

Creston Advisory LLC Dover, Delaware, United States

About this position

About Creston Advisory LLC

Creston Advisory is a boutique mergers and acquisitions consulting firm built to support investors and operators through every phase of the transaction lifecycle. As hands‑on execution partners — not just advisors — our senior‑led teams embed directly with clients to drive results across due diligence, M&A integration, and divestitures and carve‑outs. With over 150 transactions supported, $200M in deal synergies realized, and a 100% client retention rate, we bring precision, speed, and confidence to complex deals across industries including SaaS, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and more. At Creston, value creation doesn't happen by accident — it happens by design.

Equal Opportunity Statement

Creston Advisory is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.

About the role

Creston Advisory Group advises private equity funds and strategic acquirers across the full M&A lifecycle, providing support in commercial, operational, and IT due diligence, as well as post‑merger integration and value creation initiatives.

We are building out our team and hiring a Manager to lead cross‑border M&A engagements, primarily serving US‑based private equity funds and strategic acquirers.

This is a front‑end leadership role focused on owning client relationships, leading transactions end-to-end, and driving revenue growth.

Note: This is a contract‑based role

What you'll do
  • Oversee integration and carve‑out strategy with clear execution governance
  • Own end-to-end standalone, synergy, IT, and commercial diligence engagements
  • Lead client, investor and board‑level discussions with confidence and clarity
  • Identify risks, quantify synergies, and define value creation strategy
  • Build, mentor, and scale high‑performing deal teams
  • Contribute to business development and help shape the India platform
Qualifications
  • 6–8 years of experience in consulting, M&A, or transaction advisory
  • Strong track record of leading teams and managing senior client stakeholders
  • Deep analytical capability across financial and operational drivers
  • Experience with private equity or cross‑border engagements preferred
  • Flexibility to work across US time zones given the front‑end, client‑facing nature of the role
Compensation

Compensation will be competitive with top‑tier consulting and transaction advisory firms, aligned with experience and leadership capability.

Why Creston
  • Exposure to high‑impact transactions with leading private equity and corporate clients
  • Opportunity to play a key role in shaping and scaling the Deals practice in the US
  • Leadership responsibility with direct influence on client outcomes and firm growth
  • High‑growth opportunity as we scale the India platform
