Summary of the Job:

Process incoming research requests, monetary account adjustments, and account updates for credit card and unsecured consumer loan accounts in compliance with applicable regulations. Utilize basic accounting concepts to resolve payment issues, review/issue credit balances, and ensure transactions are posted accurately and timely to customer accounts. Assist in recommending, implementing, training, and documenting new processes to gain efficiencies and reduce expenses.
Schedule:
7:30am to 4:00pm CST Monday through Friday
Location:
FNBO Tower - 1601 Dodge Street

About This Role:

  • Research and resolve unapplied payments, credit balances, and payment inquiries related to credit card and unsecured consumer loan accounts.
  • Calculate and process monetary account adjustments.
  • Provide a positive customer experience while responding to written and verbal customer inquiries.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams to identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide/participate, as assigned by management, in on-the-job orientation, training, and cross training of new and existing team members.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of basic accounting concepts
  • Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task assigned projects while adhering to multiple timetables of completion
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills

Desired:

  • Data entry and 10-key experience
  • Familiar with various proprietary systems (i.e. TBS, eGain, First Work etc.)
  • Knowledge of diverse banking products and processes
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $41,116.00-$65,787.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
