Job Summary:
Arena Club is pioneering the collectibles domain by introducing the first-ever digital card show. They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Engineer with strong experience in React Native to help scale and evolve their mobile app, delivering new features and ensuring world-class user experiences.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Contribute to the ongoing development of Arena Clubโ€™s mobile app using React Native, delivering new features and enhancements that delight our users
โ€ข Collaborate with product managers and designers to create intuitive, engaging customer experiences
โ€ข Partner with backend and web engineers to ensure seamless functionality across platforms
โ€ข Design and implement robust app architectures and complex user interfaces
โ€ข Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
โ€ข Raise the engineering bar, set development standards, and identify and correct bottlenecks
โ€ข Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
โ€ข 7+ years of experience in mobile application development
โ€ข Proficient in React Native with a strong understanding of the iOS and Android ecosystems
โ€ข Familiarity with modern mobile frameworks and tools (Rx, IoC/DI, analytics, A/B testing, Bazel)
โ€ข Experience leading mobile app development projects and deploying apps from scratch
โ€ข Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration
โ€ข Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and life cycle
โ€ข Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs, push notifications, and building e-commerce marketplaces
โ€ข Hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude or Cursor preferred; other agentic tools welcome) to ship code, build agents, and automate workflows
โ€ข Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and collaborate with engineers across various time zones
