Job description

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, or Technical Consultant supporting large-scale enterprise transformations, including 4 years leading complex, multi-system initiatives.

  • Experience with end-to-end enterprise workflows, including CRM, CPQ, Contract Management, Billing platforms, and Revenue Recognition processes.

  • Experience reviewing data models, integration patterns, and APIs.

  • Experience with Agile/Kanban execution methodologies and project management tools such as Jira and Jira Product Discovery.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Proven track record in M&A Integrations, with hands-on experience evaluating, unifying, and executing business systems flows and mapping data integration requirements in an enterprise environment.

  • Demonstrated staff-level leadership with a history of driving consensus and influencing strategic decisions across multiple peer teams and stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Collaborative peer leadership, with a proven ability to operate effectively as a vital piece of a whole, collaborating alongside other senior technical, product, and business resources to achieve overarching goals.

  • Proactive, highly autonomous problem solver who excels at navigating ambiguity, bringing structural clarity to complex multi-system initiatives.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical trade-offs into actionable insights for business leaders.

  • Agility with new technologies, demonstrating the ability to learn new systems (both 1P and 3P) quickly and with a high degree of proficiency.

About the job:

The Business Systems Team ensures the reliability and evolution of the core platforms that power Wiz. Composed of administrators, developers, and analysts, the team maintains and optimizes these systems to support company growth. Our focus is on practical execution and system health to meet Wiz's broader business objectives.

As a Sr. Business Systems Analyst, you will lead the technical program management and execution of high-impact strategic initiatives across our internal business tools. Operating as a highly technical, senior systems resource, you will bridge the gap between business strategy, system logic, and technical design. You will drive deep systems analysis, data mapping, and functional integration pathways across a complex internal systems landscape. A core responsibility is leading large-scale technical programs, including post-merger integrations, by planning roadmaps, aligning technical milestones, and utilizing strong judgment to determine when to solve complex systems issues yourself versus when to collaborate with specialized engineering resources to construct complete architectures.

To be successful in this role, you must be a highly autonomous professional who combines deep technical systems expertise with robust technical program management capabilities. You need a strategic product mindset and a proven track record of operating effectively within highly matrixed environments, demonstrating the ability to build strong influence and drive cross-functional alignment outside of formal reporting lines. Success requires a strong background in technical systems analysis for internal business tools, including data schemas, API integration patterns, and platform configurations, alongside the structured program leadership skills needed to manage complex multi-system initiatives from discovery to launch.

Responsibilities:
  • Leverage extensive systems analytics experience to navigate enterprise system boundaries, transactional logic, and multi-system data flows across first-party (1P) and third-party (3P) tools.

  • Document and design end-to-end system flows, functional integration requirements, and system configuration procedures from the ground up to solve complex enterprise challenges across the full customer and transaction lifecycle (including Lead, Opportunity, Quote, Contract, Order, Billing, RevRec, and Post-Sales).

  • Act as the primary execution partner with the Wiz and Google technical teams. Ensure roadmaps are populated with well-vetted, prioritized initiatives and lead project delivery through the Kanban lifecycle.

  • Proactively identify friction points, process bottlenecks, and system gaps across the enterprise ecosystem. Recommend and advance long-term, scalable solutions that align with business strategy.

  • Lead discovery for new integrated business flows. Partner closely with engineering teams to design and configure solutions across Salesforce, core 1P product systems, and third-party applications to deliver a frictionless customer experience.

  • Build consensus and influence decisions and technical alignment across diverse cross-functional teams (including Product, Engineering, Sales, Legal, and Finance) outside of your direct line authority. Act as a vital piece of a collaborative whole, working seamlessly alongside other senior resources (such as Senior Admins, Architects, Product Managers, and Directors) to drive unified organizational outcomes.

  • Own the delivery cycle from initial concept through UAT and rollout. Serve as the gatekeeper of quality, ensuring technical delivery directly solves the business problem and delivers measurable value.

  • Establish and enforce best-practice project artifacts, system documentation, and Agile/Kanban methodologies, providing direction, support, and mentorship to team members across initiatives.
