Job description

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a high-growth AI technology company to identify a Senior Business Operations Manager to join its Business Operations team.

This is a high-impact, horizontal role for someone who can partner with leaders across the company to turn ambiguous strategic problems into structured decisions, durable operating systems, and measurable outcomes. The work will span strategic planning, cross-functional initiatives, analytics, business intelligence, operating cadence, and the systems needed to support the company’s next phase of growth.

This is a strong fit for someone with sharp business judgment, an entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical ability, and the ability to move fluidly between strategy, execution, data, and stakeholder alignment.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with leaders across the company to frame complex business problems and drive them through execution and measurable impact.
  • Own cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through execution, measurement, and handoff to a steady-state owner.
  • Translate strategic priorities into structured operating plans with clear owners, milestones, metrics, and decision points.
  • Support core operating rhythms such as roadmapping, OKRs, business reviews, planning cycles, and executive reporting.
  • Build dashboards, reporting, and business intelligence that help leadership understand performance and make better decisions.
  • Turn messy data into clear recommendations for executive audiences.
  • Surface risks, trade-offs, and dependencies early to support timely, well-made decisions.
  • Design durable systems, processes, and operating cadences that scale with the company.
  • Work across functions such as Product, GTM, Finance, Operations, Data, and Executive Leadership.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in roles requiring strong business judgment, cross-functional execution, analytical thinking, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
  • Experience in business operations, strategy, consulting, finance, analytics, product operations, corporate development, or a similarly cross-functional operating role.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience building operating, financial, market, or business models from scratch.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous business questions into structured analysis, clear recommendations, and executable plans.
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing across functions without direct authority.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for both executive and operating audiences.
  • Solid project management fundamentals and the ability to run cross-functional workstreams independently.
  • High ownership, entrepreneurial energy, and willingness to go deep where needed.
  • Interest in AI, SaaS, data infrastructure, or high-growth technology environments.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience at a high-growth startup, AI company, SaaS company, or venture-backed technology business.
  • Experience building dashboards, reporting systems, operating cadences, or business intelligence workflows.
  • Familiarity with CRM, ERP, BI, analytics, data pipelines, or other systems that support modern business operations.
  • Consulting, investment banking, business operations, product operations, corporate development, or strategic finance background.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve workflows, analysis, reporting, prototyping, or internal operating systems.
  • Comfort working with technical, data, and business teams to identify root causes, clarify trade-offs, and build scalable solutions.
Compensation & Benefits

Expected base salary range for this role is: $132,000 – $208,000 USD

Final compensation will depend on experience, location, level, and overall fit. Equity and benefits may also be included as part of the broader compensation package.

Benefits may include medical, dental, and vision coverage, equity participation, paid time off, parental leave, learning and development support, and hybrid work flexibility.
