Job description

Job Title: Oracle Business Systems Analyst – Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)

Location: Remote (Occasional travel up to 10% to San Antonio, TX)

Job Type: 6 month Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Business Systems Analyst specializing in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) to drive the configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of our enterprise contracting systems. In this role, you will act as the vital bridge between business stakeholders (Legal, Procurement, and Contracts) and technical teams, converting functional needs into efficient Oracle workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and support Oracle Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) modules, including Enterprise Contracts and associated procurement modules (Purchasing, Self-Service Procurement).
  • Lead business requirements gathering sessions with Legal, Procurement, and Contract teams to document current processes and design future-state solutions.
  • Design and implement complex contract workflows, custom approval hierarchies, and standardized clause libraries.
  • Conduct comprehensive fit-gap analyses and translate functional requirements into clear technical design specifications.
  • Coordinate with engineering and technical leads on configuration vs. customization decisions to preserve system integrity.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), author comprehensive test scripts, facilitate end-user training, and drive change management strategies.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, support patch updates, and optimize cross-functional P2P/CLM execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of functional experience in Oracle CLM and Procurement modules (EBS R12 or Oracle Fusion Cloud preferred).
  • Primary Skill: 3–5 years of dedicated hands-on experience in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), including clause library design, authoring setups, and approval workflows.
  • Core Modules: Deep expertise in Oracle Enterprise Contracts, Purchasing, and Self-Service Procurement (SSP).
  • Business Analysis: Proven ability to run fit-gap analyses, write functional design specs (BR100 / MD50 or equivalent), and execute UAT cycles.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to collaborate directly with Legal and Executive stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Procurement / Enterprise Contracts implementation or upgrades.
  • Relevant Oracle Cloud Procurement or Enterprise Contracts certifications.
  • Background in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle integrations.
