Description
The Amazon Account Manager will lead strategic direction and provide best-in-class execution to achieve sales and profitability goals. This role will work alongside the client, as well as working directly with Amazon resources available (from case management to Vendor Managers). The Amazon Account Manager is responsible for leading and identifying business needs and creating appropriate data solutions while executing complex projects, casting vision, and seeking new solutions with additional retail context at the category, retailer, and industry levels. By combining these skills, this role will supplement insights and broaden clients’ understanding of key sales drivers and risks to the business.
For this role we prefer that candidates are based out of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CT, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MD, MN, MO, MS, NV, NC, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Work with strategic clients to drive growth and efficiency in their business and own aspects of their business like developing annual brand strategies, marketing and promotional plans, product launches, supply chain optimization, Amazon negotiations and resolving client escalations.
  • Partner with clients' senior management to develop growth opportunities, resolve operational and business issues, assist in negotiations with Amazon on the client’s behalf
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day business activities like product listings, forecasting, chargeback disputes, and content updates with the aid of a Sales Support Analyst
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Analyze large sets of data to identify key brand opportunities and trends to drive business growth for strategic clients
  • Work cross-functionally within the organization to onboard new clients, develop advertising plans, and dive into data to find opportunities to help your client
Requirements:
  • At least 2-3 years of account management experience in the eCommerce ecosystem
  • Experience leveraging data into actionable insights
  • Trained in strategic negotiations
  • Radical curiosity of retail and the constantly changing marketplace
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ownership mindset
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to proactively and creatively problem solve (as an individual and with a team)
  • Excellent written amp; verbal communication skills
  • Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Willingness to travel

The national hiring range for this position is $80,000-$100,000 per year. Additionally, this position is eligible to participate in our bonus program.
