Secretary III: Head Secretary/Attendance

La Grande School District is accepting applications for the following position: Secretary III: Head Secretary/Attendance - La Grande High School 8 hours/day, 207 days/school year

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Carry out school policies and work closely with school principals to administer attendance rules. Confer with parents, counselors, and administrators on student absences. Create and maintain records, databases, and reports on student attendance. Provide assistance and secretarial support with a high level of responsibility in a high school.

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED required plus three (3) years of secretarial experience; OR two years (72 quarter credit hours) of higher education, OR a combination of experience and education. Must undergo a fingerprint background check.

INITIAL SALARY RANGE: $20.17 - $23.59 per hour. Benefits are provided with this position.
