Job Title: Sample CoordinatorJob DescriptionAs a Sample Coordinator, you will perform a variety of sample and standard handling activities to support laboratory operations. You will adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and respond to requests from laboratory staff with minimal supervision. Your role is crucial in maintaining proper sample handling procedures and ensuring compliance with laboratory and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Receive, log, label, inventory, transport, and track samples and standards throughout the laboratory process.
- Support sample check-in, check-out, storage, and documentation activities.
- Assist with the return, transfer, and disposal of laboratory materials when required.
- Communicate sample and standard status updates to laboratory personnel.
- Provide guidance to laboratory staff regarding sample handling procedures and requirements.
- Complete deviation reports and investigations as needed and assist with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Review laboratory requests to ensure compliance with applicable SOPs and quality requirements.
- Participate in training related to SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and sample storage requirements.
- Respond to environmental monitoring alarms and participate in on-call support rotations when necessary.
- Perform all work accurately, safely, and within established timelines.
Essential Skills- Proficiency in sample preparation and management.
- Experience in inventory control and laboratory operations.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a laboratory, sample management, inventory control, or regulated environment.
- Familiarity with SOPs and quality documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Associate degree, technical certificate, vocational training, or related education is preferred.
- Experience in data entry and chemistry is beneficial.
- Flexible with education and experience requirements.
- Sample management experience is advantageous.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a regulated laboratory environment and following established quality and safety procedures. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
