If you're a driven sales professional with a hunter mindset and experience selling into the public sector, this role offers uncapped earnings, career growth, and the chance to work with a team that's passionate about serving those who serve.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with public safety agencies and local governments within your assigned territory
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline valued at $250K+ within the first 90 days
  • Maintain consistent outreach activity, including 50+ weekly touches through phone calls, emails, and in-person visits
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and quotes using NetSuite and our sales enablement tools
  • Collaborate with internal teams-including engineering, install, and customer service-to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Represent Island Tech Services at industry tradeshows, events, and customer demos to increase visibility and generate leads
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals and performance milestones, contributing to the company's growth targets
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client challenges and aligning ITS solutions with their operational needs

  • 60 Days: Deepen product knowledge, build a pipeline of 20+ qualified opportunities, submit formal quotes, and participate in a vehicle build or install. Deliver a territory development plan and hold 10+ meetings.
  • 90 Days: Manage sales cycles independently, maintain pipeline to meet quarterly goals, close initial orders, and deliver 8+ customer presentations. Complete territory review with Sales Manager.
  • 120 Days: Achieve or exceed quarterly revenue targets, develop top account plans, sustain a pipeline 3x quarterly goal, and demonstrate strong NetSuite proficiency and sales consistency.

Qualifications
Required:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in B2B or public-sector sales, ideally in a technical or service-based industry
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding a $1M+ annual sales quota, with at least two consecutive years of 100%+ attainment
  • Strong prospecting and territory development skills with a hunter mindset
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred:

  • Experience selling mobile data terminals (MDTs), vehicle upfitting services, or related public safety technologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Information Technology, or a related field
