Konik is partnering with an innovative mechanical systems company seeking to add multiple Sales Engineers to support continued national growth across the commercial and industrial HVAC market. This organization develops and delivers advanced energy-efficient solutions for complex commercial facilities and large-scale mechanical infrastructure projects.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical aptitude with a relationship-driven sales mindset. The company is open to individuals who lean more heavily toward engineering or toward business development, provided they possess strong technical systems knowledge and enjoy working in highly consultative environments.

  • Support indirect sales channels by providing technical expertise, sales coordination, and customer-facing support throughout the project lifecycle
  • Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and consultative discussions related to commercial HVAC and mechanical system applications
  • Collaborate with engineering, preconstruction, and operations teams to support project pursuits and customer solutions
  • Drive opportunities through the sales pipeline while supporting pricing, proposal development, and customer communications
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry networking events to generate interest and build long-term business relationships
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, channel partners, and internal teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution
  • Support process improvement efforts related to CRM management, sales coordination, and channel partner engagement
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to support ongoing growth initiatives

Sales Engineer Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC systems, mechanical systems sales, technical sales, applications engineering, or related industries
  • Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and building mechanical infrastructure
  • Experience working with manufacturer representatives, engineering firms, contractors, or national account customers preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and drive new business opportunities
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and long sales cycles simultaneously
  • Experience with CRM systems, technical presentations, and consultative sales environments preferred
  • AutoCAD, Revit, or related technical software exposure is a plus
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary around $140,000 depending on experience
  • Uncapped commission potential
  • Flexible compensation structure, including potential commission-heavy options
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Hybrid and remote flexibility depending on territory and experience
