We're looking for a motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales organization. In this role, you'll help generate qualified sales opportunities through strategic prospecting, collaboration, and customer engagement.


What You'll Do

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll work closely with sales teams, marketing, sales operations, and leadership to identify target accounts, engage prospective customers, and build a strong qualified pipeline for the direct sales organization.

In This Role, You Will:Research and Prospect
  • Generate qualified opportunities for the direct sales team while exceeding sourced pipeline goals
  • Research contacts and accounts to identify the most relevant audience for Minitab solutions
  • Prospect into both new accounts and selected existing customer accounts
  • Utilize multiple communication channels to engage contacts within target accounts
  • Tailor messaging to create meaningful interactions with prospects
  • Conduct thorough discovery conversations and maintain detailed documentation
  • Effectively manage time and productivity across various tasks and market segments
Collaboration
  • Partner with sales operations, marketing, sales leadership, and direct managers to provide feedback on prospecting strategies, customer interactions, market insights, and solution positioning
  • Partner with dedicated sales representatives to support territory growth and achieve key business and sales objectives
  • Collaborate with business development teammates to share best practices and contribute to overall team success
Continuous Improvement
  • Leverage sales technology and tools effectively to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Continuously develop knowledge of markets, industries, customer personas, products, and competitors
  • Strengthen sales skills including discovery, positioning, and objection handling
  • Support ongoing growth and achievement of organizational objectives through continuous learning

  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas or targets
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

This position may be performed remotely by candidates who reside in PA, OH, SC, GA, FL, MI, or TX.
