We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and creative individual to join our Sales Operations team as a Sales Compensation Manager. This experienced-level role reports to the Senior Manager, Sales Operations, and plays a key role in supporting and evolving the sales compensation function through close partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
The Sales Compensation Manager will collaborate with Sales, Finance, HR, and Legal to design and manage compensation programs that motivate performance and drive efficient revenue growth. This role will lead the annual sales compensation design process, leveraging data-driven insights and partnering closely with senior leadership, including the CFO, to ensure alignment with company objectives.
The ideal candidate is passionate about using data to inform decisions, guide strategic conversations, and influence outcomes. They will excel at working cross-functionally to develop, refine, and implement compensation plans that support scalable growth.
Your Impact:
  • Lead the annual sales compensation design process, leveraging data analysis to inform plan structure and business alignment
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for commission-related inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
  • Support onboarding and training for new hires on compensation plans and policies
  • Assist in the administration of sales compensation plans, including monthly processing and ensuring accurate payouts
  • Ensure compensation programs adhere to applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements
  • Analyze sales performance data to assess the effectiveness of compensation plans and recommend enhancements to optimize outcomes
  • Clearly communicate compensation plans and any updates to the sales team, ensuring transparency in how performance is rewarded
  • Conduct regular audits and validations to ensure commission accuracy and compliance
  • Own sales analytics and reporting to deliver actionable insights for executive reporting and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
Your Toolkit:
  • Bachelor's degree required with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience leading sales compensation design
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite. Advanced level Excel skills preferred.
  • In depth experience with Salesforce.com required and commissions system required
  • Ability to take initiative, work flexibly, and set priorities with minimal direct supervision.
  • Approach and address issues with creative solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills, disciplined attention to detail, highly organized and thorough.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines.
