Job Description VP Sales Location: New York, NY (Onsite) Compensation: $260,000 base salary, $400,000 OTE Industry: Retail Tech Employment Type: Full-time Our client is a fast-growing retail technology company transforming how modern retailers drive revenue, optimize operations, and engage customers across physical and digital channels. Backed by strong product-market fit and a growing customer base, they are now looking for a Vice President of Sales to build, scale, and lead their revenue organization through the next phase of growth. The Role Our client is hiring a remote VP of Sales to own revenue strategy and execution end to end.

This leader will be responsible for building a predictable, scalable sales engine while personally driving outcomes on the company's largest and most strategic retail deals. Reporting directly to the executive team, this role will partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to accelerate growth and position the company as a category leader in retail tech. Key Responsibilities Build, lead, and scale a high-performing remote sales organization, including hiring, coaching, and performance management Own revenue targets, forecasting, pipeline health, and sales execution across all segments Design and refine the go-to-market strategy for mid-market and enterprise retail customers Act as executive sponsor on complex, high-value enterprise opportunities and strategic accounts Implement clear sales processes, KPIs, and operating cadence to drive accountability and consistency Partner with Marketing on demand generation, positioning, and pipeline creation within the retail tech space Collaborate with Product and Customer Success to ensure strong customer outcomes, retention, and expansion Report on revenue performance and growth strategy to the CEO, board, and investors What They're Looking For Proven experience as a VP of Sales or senior sales leader within B2B SaaS, retail tech, or adjacent technology markets Demonstrated success scaling sales teams and revenue in a high-growth environment Strong understanding of enterprise and multi-location retail buying cycles Track record of building distributed or remote sales teams that consistently exceed targets Strategic, data-driven leader who can operate at both executive and execution levels Credible executive presence with C-level customers and internal stakeholders Compensation & Benefits $260,000 base salary $400,000 OTE with meaningful upside Equity participation Fully remote role with flexibility and autonomy.
