Kimball Equipment Company is a successful dealer for brands such as Terex Cedarapids, Terex Finlay, and Superior Industries. Parts Sales Qualifications:
  • Be able to communicate effectively with other employees and customers over the phone, through email and in-person.
  • Be self-driven through the pursuit of producing positive results.
  • Possess exceptional customer service skills.
  • Be highly attentive to detail with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to multitask.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Parts Sales Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for assisting outside sales representatives in nurturing customer relationships and ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Responsible for helping coordinate service jobs with outside sales representatives, customers, and service technicians to ensure all service orders are handled expeditiously.
  • Responsible for parts and service order processing:
  • Accurate, and up to date knowledge of the part systems for all manufacturers represented by the dealership (i.e., understands all the features and benefits of all parts sold).
  • Able to determine pricing and discounts for all parts according to the company standards.
  • Understands and employs good selling techniques, including conveying a professional and positive manner over the phone.
  • Knowledgeable about the computer systems used by parts department.
  • Acts as a facilitator for service technicians in finding and sourcing the parts that they need.
  • Remains aware of all order statuses, keeping customers aware of any issues or the time frame in which the order will be fulfilled.
  • Finds solutions for any issues that may arise within the department.
  • Follows all policies and procedures as specified in the company handbook and as directed by the location manager.
  • Maintains high employee morale.
  • Attains short- and long-term objectives with good management/planning.
