We are looking for a dynamic and technically savvy Applications Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, sales and strategy-someone who can translate technical capabilities into business value and drive growth through innovation and collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Growth
    • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities aligned with company growth objectives
    • Actively participate as part of the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets
    • Support the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
  • Customer Engagement & Solution Development
    • Engage directly with customers to understand technical requirements and business needs
    • Develop and present customized solutions that align with customer applications
    • Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proposals
  • Technical Sales Support
    • Serve as the technical expert in sales conversations, clearly articulating product advantages and ROI
    • Assist in quoting, proposal development, and responding to technical inquiries
    • Support contract negotiations to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Market & Strategy Contribution
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities
    • Provide actionable insights to influence product development and go-to-market strategies
    • Partner with marketing on campaigns, messaging, and lead generation initiatives
  • Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and internal teams
    • Support long-term account development and customer retention
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or business development
  • Proven ability to influence decision-makers and close deals
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment


Preferred:

  • Experience with VFDs, power electronics, programmable logic, or circuit design
  • Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks)


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or applications engineering.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
  • Experience with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) is a plus.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
