Title: Inside Sales & Applications Engineer - Industrial Equipment Location: Corpus Christi, Texas Company: Air Specialty & Equipment Position Summary Air Specialty & Equipment is seeking an Inside Sales & Applications Engineer to manage quoting, applications support, and order lifecycle responsibilities for industrial air compressors and fabricated packages. This position requires experience in technical sales, equipment selection, or industrial operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate equipment and fabrication quotes, ensuring proper margin control and required approvals.
  • Provide applications support by interpreting specifications, evaluating customer requirements, and recommending appropriate equipment.
  • Manage order processing from purchase order through fulfillment, coordinating with vendors, fabrication, and logistics.
  • Maintain CRM records, follow ups, and sales pipeline activity.
  • Oversee equipment inventory status and assist with replenishment planning.
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding lead times, technical details, and order status.
  • Contribute to process improvement and standardization initiatives.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in inside sales, technical sales, applications engineering, or industrial equipment support.
  • Working knowledge of rotating equipment, industrial machinery, or compressed air systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret drawings and technical documents.
  • Experience with CRM/ERP platforms.
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
