What is a sales and application engineer?

Sales and Application Engineers are professionals who combine technical expertise with sales skills to provide solutions for clients. This dual role requires clear communication, time management, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for clients. It’s common to collaborate closely with both engineering teams and the sales department, ensuring client requirements are addressed while also achieving sales targets. Successfully balancing these responsibilities is key to building long-term customer relationships and advancing within the role.
