Safety Assistant : Suburban Drywall is seeking a Safety Assistant for our Waukesha Location. The Safety Assistant will assist the Safety Director in establishing reliable methods to improve safety performance and create a safe environment for all employees. Core Responsibilities Enforces all jobsite safety requirements Help maintain inventory of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety materials Travel to job sites to assist with field safety inspections Serve as an additional point of contact for safety-related questions from employees and subcontractors.

Knowledge of how to erect scaffolding (will train) Must be fine working at different heights Help with maintaining scaffold inventory and other equipment at Waukesha location Deliver and pick up scaffolding for jobs Assist with monthly safety meetings at both locations Skills and Requirements Experience in construction or a safety-related role Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, or use ladders Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds as needed for safety equipment handling Must have a valid driver's license First Aid, CPR & AED certifications preferred or willing to become certified Must possess or go through OSHA 30 construction certification class
