A growing roofing contractor is seeking an experienced Roofing Foreman to lead roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship, safety, and timely completion. This role is responsible for supervising field crews, coordinating project activities, managing materials, and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship throughout every phase of construction.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive roofing experience, and the ability to manage multiple aspects of residential and commercial roofing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary

The Roofing Foreman oversees daily roofing operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. This role works closely with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to deliver high-quality roofing installations, repairs, and restoration projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily roofing operations, including installation, repair, and restoration projects.

  • Coordinate roofing crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project schedules.

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

  • Manage material procurement, inventory, and proper storage of tools and equipment.

  • Conduct quality inspections throughout each phase of construction.

  • Lead regular safety meetings, hazard assessments, and incident reporting.

  • Collaborate with project managers on project planning, cost estimating, and progress reporting.

  • Maintain productive communication with project stakeholders and field personnel.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Roofing Foreman or similar leadership role within the construction industry.

  • Extensive knowledge of residential and commercial roofing systems.

  • Experience with framing carpentry, trim carpentry, stucco, masonry, welding, tile installation, metal stud framing, restoration, and remodeling.

  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.

  • Experience with concrete forming, fabrication, plumbing systems, caulking, drywall finishing, and general construction techniques.

  • Familiarity with construction estimating and project budgeting.

  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction site safety.

  • Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
