Location: Buford, GA

Reports To: Commercial Operations Manager
RoofServ is a fully licensed and insured roofing contractor specializing in residential and commercial roofing solutions. As we continue to grow throughout the Southeast, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team in Buford, Georgia.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys evaluating project opportunities, building customer relationships, and helping drive profitable growth through accurate estimating and proposal development. The Commercial Roofing Estimator will play a key role in securing new business while ensuring projects are set up for successful execution.

What You’ll Do
Estimating & Proposal Development
  •  Review project plans, specifications, bid documents, and site conditions. 
  •  Perform roof inspections, measurements, and project takeoffs. 
  •  Prepare detailed estimates for: 
    •  Commercial roof repairs 
    •  Preventative maintenance programs 
    •  Reroof projects 
    •  New construction roofing opportunities 
  •  Develop scopes of work and professional customer proposals. 
  •  Analyze project requirements to ensure accurate pricing and profitability. 
Customer & Vendor Coordination
  •  Build and maintain relationships with: 
    •  Property managers 
    •  General contractors 
    •  Consultants 
    •  Building owners 
    •  Facility managers 
  •  Coordinate pricing and material sourcing with suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers. 
  •  Attend customer meetings, site walks, and pre-bid conferences as required. 
  •  Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the estimating and sales process. 
Project Planning & Operations Support
  •  Work closely with operations and production teams to ensure seamless project handoff. 
  •  Maintain organized records of bids, estimates, and project opportunities. 
  •  Track estimating activity and maintain an active project pipeline. 
  •  Assist with supplementing insurance-related roofing claims when applicable. 
  •  Support project teams with technical information and scope clarification. 
Industry & Technical Expertise
  •  Stay current on commercial roofing systems, products, manufacturer requirements, and industry best practices. 
  •  Evaluate evolving roofing technologies and solutions to better serve customers. 
  •  Maintain a strong understanding of building envelope systems and roofing applications. 
What We’re Looking For
  •  Experience in commercial roofing estimating, project management, sales, or related construction roles preferred. 
  •  Knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including: 
    •  TPO 
    •  PVC 
    •  EPDM 
    •  Modified Bitumen 
    •  Metal Roofing 
    •  Roof Coatings 
    •  Asphalt Shingles 
  •  Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction documents. 
  •  Experience with estimating software, Xactimate, or roofing CRM platforms preferred. 
  •  Strong communication and relationship-building skills. 
  •  Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. 
  •  Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  •  Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. 
  •  Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
