Shifts: 1 Day‐shift and 1 Swing‐shift position available
Salary: $80,000–$100,000 DOE

Position Summary
The Operations Manager (OM) is a senior leadership role responsible for day‐to‐day plant operations, operational performance, food safety, quality, productivity, customer service, and financial results. The OM leads supervisors and production teams, drives continuous improvement, and ensures the facility meets safety, regulatory, and production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production staff using Lean/continuous improvement practices.
- Manage daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
- Oversee equipment reliability with Maintenance/Engineering and minimize downtime.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality systems (HACCP, SQF, GMP); support audits/inspections.
- Monitor KPIs (production, labor cost, waste, OEE) and implement corrective actions.
- Support budgeting, cost control, and Capex initiatives.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain talent; conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Promote a safe, compliant, and engaged workplace; flexible to support operational needs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years progressive manufacturing/plant operations leadership (food manufacturing strongly preferred).
- Proven experience driving continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem‐solving skills.
- Comfortable with ERP/manufacturing systems; experience with Red Zone or similar preferred.
- Familiarity with USDA/FDA food regulations and SQF/HACCP programs preferred.
- Ability to work in a production environment and be flexible for weekends/nights as needed.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- HACCP, AIB, Lean, or Six Sigma certifications a plus.
