Job description

Build a roofing division from the ground up - with the pipeline already waiting.

American Exterior Systems (AES) is a growing Phoenix exterior renovation contractor serving apartment communities and multifamily properties across the Valley. We are already winning roofing work and in need of someone with 7-10 years of roofing project management to help estimate, manage, and grow our roofing operations.

This is not a maintain-the-machine job. You will be employee #1 of the roofing division, backed by an established company with active multifamily relationships, a live bid pipeline, and an owner who will give you real authority to build the operation your way.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

- Estimating and bidding commercial and multifamily roofing projects (recoat, replacement, and repairs - low-slope and steep-slope)

- Production: Vendor onboarding, scheduling, crew management, material procurement, quality control, and closeout on every roofing job

- Building the team - bring in your subcontractors, hiring supporting team members to deliver large-scale reroofs.

- Manufacturer certifications and relationships (GAF, Carlisle, Polyglass, etc.) so we can offer the system warranties our property-management clients require

- Safety program for all roofing operations - non-negotiable and fully backed by ownership

- Division P&L - you will know your numbers and be bonused on them

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- 7+ years in commercial or multifamily roofing, with at least 2 years running production, estimating, or a branch/division

- You can take a roof from scope walk to tight estimate to profitable closeout without hand-holding

- Existing relationships with manufacturer reps and suppliers in the Phoenix market

- A safety-first track record you are proud to talk about

- Bonus points: multifamily/HOA experience, Spanish fluency, experience standing up a crew or division from scratch

WHAT YOU GET

- $110K-$140K base depending on experience, plus a production bonus tied to division performance

- Truck or vehicle allowance

- A seat at the leadership table of a company that is growing fast - and the chance to build something with your name on it instead of managing someone else's machine

If you have been the best operator in someone else's shop and you are ready to build your own, we want to talk.
