Overview

Vice President of Operations - Commercial Roofing - Georgia

Gryphon Oakwood is currently working on a Vice President of Operations role for a roofing contractor in Atlanta, Georgia.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of commercial roofing projects, from planning through completion, while meeting timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Lead, mentor, and support the roofing operations team to foster performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Establish, implement, and refine operational policies and procedures to boost efficiency and ensure consistent quality
  • Perform regular site inspections to verify adherence to safety standards and workmanship requirements
  • Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and smooth project execution
  • Monitor and assess project performance using key metrics, making operational adjustments to achieve objectives
  • Provide training, guidance, and technical expertise to team members on commercial roofing practices, safety, and installation techniques
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in operations management within the commercial roofing industry
  • Strong knowledge of roofing systems, such as TPO, PVC and metal, roofing processes, and modern installation methods
