About the Role 
Colony Roofers is seeking a skilled, organized, and people-oriented Superintendent to oversee daily job site operations, ensure exceptional workmanship, and maintain clear communication between crews, clients, and internal teams. This role is critical to keeping projects on schedule, managing quality control, and ensuring a smooth workflow throughout the roofing process. 
The ideal candidate has strong leadership experience, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to navigate both field challenges and customer-facing conversations with professionalism. 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Oversee day-to-day roofing project operations and job site progress. 
  • Ensure crews follow safety standards, installation requirements, and company procedures. 
  • Conduct in-person job site checks before, during, and after installations. 
  • Manage project timelines, coordinate scheduling, and assist with resolving any onsite issues. 
  • Act as a main point of contact between the office, customers, and crews. 
  • Provide updates and documentation through CRM tools. 
  • Ensure materials, equipment, and labor resources are appropriately assigned. 
  • Perform project walk-throughs, quality assurance inspections, and final punch-list items. 
  • Communicate project needs or concerns to the operations and management teams. 
  • Maintain a professional, customer-first approach when interacting with homeowners and property managers.
  • Available for some travel to project sites.  
Qualifications 
  • 10+ years of roofing, construction, or superintendent experience preferred. 
  • Strong understanding of roofing systems, installation processes, and job site safety. 
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple job sites daily. 
  • Ability to read scopes of work, understand project plans, and verify installation accuracy. 
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and time-management skills. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with customers and crews. 
  • Comfortable using technology (smartphone apps, photos, CRM platforms).
