The Commercial Roofing General Manager will provide leadership to position the company at the forefront of
the industry. Develop a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue,
profitability and growth as an organization. The Commercial Roofing General Manager oversee company
operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and
level of work performed by job holders within this job. But, this job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of

Job Functions:
  • Develop a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization.
  • Oversee company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
  • Plan, develop, and implement strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the company.
  • Approve company operational procedures, policies, and standards.
  • Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.
  • Evaluate performance of executives for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives.
  • Serve as a representative of the company, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interaction.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and ensure a successful solution process.
  • Meet with the Presidents to review the operations and performance of the company.
  • Interface with the clients, negotiate contracts, and provide business development.
  • Provide leadership to ensure goals are attained and the Company's principals are maintained.

Requirements
  • Five years minimum of commercial roofing industry experience in management is a must with emphasis on all facets of the business including but not limited to customer relations, extensive knowledge of roofing materials, techniques and requirements.
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Other critical skills include planning & organizing; team-building, problem identification/resolution, multi-tasking, follow-through skills to bring tasks to closure in a timely manner, priority setting, and having a sense of urgency in accomplishing tasks in a timely manner.
  • Satisfactory computer skills - including Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Internet.
