What You'll Do
Production Management
  • Help build and develop M & M Roofing's Production Department as the company continues its rapid growth throughout Texas.
  • Manage residential roofing projects from signed contract through final completion.
  • Schedule roofing crews and subcontractors to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate production schedules while ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts.

Material Coordination
  • Order roofing materials and accessories for all scheduled projects.
  • Verify that all materials are ordered accurately and delivered on time.
  • Coordinate deliveries with suppliers, warehouse personnel, and installation crews.
  • Resolve material shortages or delivery issues before they impact production schedules.

Project Oversight
  • Review estimates, contracts, supplements, and scopes of work for accuracy before production begins.
  • Verify measurements and material quantities.
  • Conduct job site inspections throughout the production process.
  • Ensure workmanship meets M & M Roofing's quality standards.
  • Complete final inspections and ensure all punch list items are resolved promptly.

Customer Experience
  • Serve as the primary production contact for homeowners after the sale.
  • Maintain proactive communication throughout every phase of the project.
  • Address homeowner questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

Crew & Vendor Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Schedule roofing crews to maximize productivity while maintaining quality.
  • Ensure subcontractors follow company policies and safety standards.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new crews as needed.

Operations
  • Utilize roofing software to manage production schedules, job progress, documentation, and customer communication.
  • Maintain accurate project files, notes, and production updates.
  • Work closely with Sales to ensure smooth project handoffs.
  • Partner with Accounting and Leadership to resolve production-related issues.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Must have Minimum of 5 years of residential and commercial roofing production, operations, or project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing multiple roofing projects simultaneously from contract through completion.
  • Experience ordering roofing materials and coordinating supplier deliveries.
  • Experience scheduling subcontractors and roofing crews.
  • Experience reviewing roofing estimates, supplements, contracts, and scopes of work for accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of residential and commercial roofing systems, installation methods, and production processes.
  • Experience conducting job site inspections and quality control inspections.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience using roofing production software is required.
  • AccuLynx experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel throughout M & M Roofing's Texas service area, including Houston, North Houston, Seabrook, Beaumont, Austin, and San Antonio.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Insurance restoration roofing experience.
  • Experience managing residential roofing production teams.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Experience working closely with Sales, Estimating, and Customer Service teams.
  • Experience Building a Prodution Roofing Department
