COMMERCIAL ROOFING SERVICE MANAGER
Hartford, CT

Compensation:
• $105,000 – $115,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonuses
• Higher Compensation Considered for Highly Qualified Candidates

About the Opportunity

A nationally recognized commercial roofing contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Service Manager to lead and grow a well-established service division in the Hartford, CT market.

This is an excellent opportunity for a service-oriented roofing professional who thrives on building customer relationships, developing teams, driving revenue growth, and ensuring operational excellence. The Service Manager will oversee all aspects of the service department, including sales, estimating, project management, field operations, customer retention, and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial roofing service operations, a customer-first mindset, and the leadership skills necessary to grow a high-performing team while expanding market share throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the commercial roofing service department
• Lead service technicians, foremen, project managers, and support staff
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with building owners, property managers, facility managers, and key clients
• Drive service sales growth through inspections, maintenance programs, repairs, and re-roof opportunities
• Prepare and review estimates, proposals, maintenance reports, and service contracts
• Oversee project scheduling, production, profitability, and customer satisfaction
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
• Monitor departmental financial performance, budgets, and revenue goals
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop service team members
• Collaborate with company leadership on strategic growth initiatives and market expansion

Qualifications:

• 5+ Years of Commercial Roofing Experience Required
• Previous Service Management Experience Strongly Preferred
• Experience with Service Sales, Estimating, and Project Management
• Strong Knowledge of Commercial Roofing Systems Including TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, and Metal Roofing
• Proven Ability to Develop Customer Relationships and Grow Service Revenue
• Experience Leading and Managing Field and Office Personnel
• Strong Communication, Organizational, and Leadership Skills
• Financial Acumen with Understanding of Job Costing and Departmental Profitability
• Self-Motivated, Growth-Oriented, and Customer-Focused
