Including but not limited to weekly execution for forecasting, planning, analyzing, and operational follow-through to all retail outlets, while adhering to company and divisional strategies.* A critical success factor for the Retail Buyer is the ability to analyze sales trends to identify and maximize growth opportunities for the retail business while fostering strong relationships with industry partners and collaborating closely with resort leaders to drive business results.* The Retail Buyer must demonstrate flexibility in work schedules and the ability to successfully manage multiple categories and seasonal buying cycles in a dynamic business environment. This role is expected to exemplify Mammoth Resorts’ values by fostering collaboration, honoring authenticity, prioritizing purpose, and embracing empowerment while working cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.**Requirements:*** Minimum three (3) years of related professional experience in buying, procurement, or allocation.* Degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Business, or other related field and or related experience preferred.* Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and present information in writing and verbally across all levels of the organization.* Organization and Time Management: Ability to proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage time and resources to be able to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.* Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and financial skills. Ability to analyze trends and make independent judgements which have considerable impacts on the organization. Able to problem solve and work with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office 365. Specifically, Microsoft Excel.* Familiarity with Mammoth Resorts and the action sports industry.* Must have a valid California driver’s license with no major moving violations in the last three (3) years.* Travel Requirements: Yes, occasional travel is required.
