Job Title: Retail Buyer
Location: West Palm Beach
Pay rate: $19


Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Buyer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the inventory of materials for resale. You will play a key role in supporting our sustainability efforts and ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service. As a bilingual professional, you will communicate effectively with a diverse range of customers, ensuring a smooth purchasing experience. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential for maintaining inventory levels, as well as entering data into our systems.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement & Sourcing:
    • Source, evaluate, scale, and purchase recyclable materials and products for resale based on market trends, customer demand, and environmental impact.
    • Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and vendors, addressing questions, concerns, and special requests.
    • Assist customers in selecting recycled products and inform them about sustainable options and practices.
  • Data Entry & Reporting:
    • Enter purchase orders, inventory updates, and sales data accurately into the company’s database or inventory system.
    • Maintain up-to-date records for inventory, vendor agreements, and sales data.
    • Generate regular reports on sales performance, stock levels, and purchasing trends for management.
  • Sustainability Initiatives:
    • Stay informed about industry trends in sustainability and recycling practices.
    • Assist in implementing initiatives that support the recycling center's environmental goals and commitment to sustainability.


Qualifications:

    • Bilingual in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
