Job Description

As a Senior buyer, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing product assortment and product specifications to identify and address opportunities within the business and the market
  • Negotiating product costs, terms and shipping/return issues
  • Creating effective partnerships with supply chain, distribution centers, and stores operations 
  • Identifying products that will maximize promotional and marketing strategies
  • Collaborating with other merchandising functions to determine product lifecycles
  • Participating in recommending, setting and approving product pricing strategies
  • Planing and developing a merchandising team to support a growing organization.


For this position:

  • Base Salary: $110,000 - $130,000
  • Bonus: $0 - $20,000 + Signing Bonus
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance,and Retirement plans
  • Relocation: Full Relocation
  • Travel: Up to 20% of the time
  • Work Authorization: US Citizens / Green Card
Qualifications

Ideally we are looking for someone with:

  • More than 7 years of retail buying experience in a national retailer
  • Experience working in a multi SKU category
  • Experience being a proven leader and handling teams with great passion
  • Experience leading a cross functional team of planners, product developers and vendors
  • Good experience building strong vendor relationships
