Your Opportunity, Your Team

The Senior Buyer of Apparel supports QVC and is charged with buying saleable product by discovering, encouraging, and cultivating new ideas while keeping the customer at the heart of everything that they do. You will work very closely with the DMM to help develop and execute the buying office strategies and manage the day to day office functions.

You'll be supporting some of our largest brands such as Kim Gravel, Quacker Factory, LOGO, Peace Love World, and MORE!

Where You'll Work

This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at West Chester, PA several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: PA, DE, or NJ. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

  • To develop and execute the buying office strategies and manage the day-to-day office functions.

  • To select and buy product; to develop and execute product, concepts, shows, brands and ideas that achieve business goals (aligned to Buying KPIs).

  • To develop and own talent in the Product Teams centered around the WCM key differentiators (i.e. Buyer, Assistant Buyer)

  • Develop and deliver multi-platform short and mid-range business plans that meet or exceed the financial goals.

  • Seek and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decisions and align others with the buying strategy.

  • Set and deliver clear goals while committing to the buying area improved performance.

  • Work with cross functional partners in the development and execution of brand and product strategies and react to short term business results.

  • Curate unique products and assortments and develop storytelling that illustrates a product's features by way of its benefits and show how product will impact the customer's life.

  • Active participant in strategic business negotiations and discussions with vendors.

  • Discover new vendors and leverage existing vendors to deliver on product assortments.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience.

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in a Retail Buying role, or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years as a buyer. Prior experience managing/leading others preferred.

  • Direct category experience is a plus
