In this temporary Assistant Buyer role, you will support purchasing operations by sourcing materials, working with suppliers, and helping ensure production runs smoothly and on time. Your work will play an important role in keeping operations efficient and meeting customer demand.

Assistant Buyer Duties:
o Purchase materials, parts, supplies, and equipment
o Communicate specifications and issue requests for quotes to suppliers
o Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and quality expectations
o Release purchase orders and help expedite orders as needed
o Maintain accurate records, including matching receiving tickets with purchase orders

Schedule:
o Day Shift
o Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Pay: $20 - $26 per hour

Assistant Buyer Requirements:
o Must be a US Citizen
o High school diploma or GED
o At least 1 year of supply chain or buyer experience
o Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
